One last request of our FASD RESPECT Act Champions – send a brief note to your members of Congress who are co-sponsors of the FASD Respect Act 1) thanking them and 2) urging them to contact Committee leadership (House – Energy & Commerce and Senate – HELP) and House and Senate leadership (Rep. Pelosi and Sen. Schumer) with the following message: “FASD legislation needs to be passed THIS Congress”
This email can be short and look something like this:
Dear SENATOR/CONGRESSPERSON BLANK,
My sincere thanks for your co-sponsorship of The FASD Respect Act (HR4151/S2238) and your efforts on behalf of people with FASD. Before this legislative session ends, I have one more request. Please reach out to committee leadership with the following message: “FASD legislation needs to be passed THIS Congress”
