Staying current with what is happening in Congress and how that impacts FASD policy can be overwhelming, even frustrating. This is why we facilitate the Weekly Policy Drop-In, held every Wednesday (except for the last Wednesday of each month) at noon Eastern.
For the last three years, advocates have joined the FASD United Policy team weekly for a collaborative, open lunchtime meeting to discuss everything from the FASD Respect Act’s progress to funding opportunities for state and local organizations. There is no agenda for these meetings — this is a chance for us to share weekly updates while providing a space for advocates to collaborate, brainstorm, and get their questions answered.
The next Drop-In is scheduled for this Wednesday, May 15th, at noon Eastern. Meetings generally run the full hour, but attendees can come and go as they like. We hope you will take a seat at our virtual table and share your experience and expertise as we do the same!
